Armorican Energy Recovery Company – Agromousquetaires Group

The client’s objectives and expectations

Study of the heat source and definition of a technical solution for the recovery and valorization of waste heat to supply a vegetable greenhouse.

Our main tasks

Engineering study aimed at implementing the recovery of waste heat available at industrial sites (steam, flue gases, fumes…).

  • Characterization of the waste heat source,
  • Definition of recovery exchangers,
  • Thermal and electrical sizing,
  • Analyse fonctionnelle,
  • Plan & PID,
  • Descriptions & cost estimation.

Project characteristics

  • Hydrocondenser: 5,000 kW,
  • Economizer: 500 kW,
  • Hot water storage: 5,000 m³.

Résultats obtenus

Heat recovery: 16.7 GWh (phase 1) & 13.2 GWh (phase 2).

The challenge of this mission for me was to identify and design a technical solution that could integrate into the existing process and enable the development of an exemplary circular economy project.
